Burning Krin

I run Krin using the Burning Wheel rules. While Krin is more or less system neutral I chose Burning Wheel because it best supported my design goals. You could easily use the Krin setting in other systems as well. D&D would be a fine match for Krin, especially during the Age of Magic.

The following are the different system changes for playing in Burning Krin. Most of them are fairly minor changes. Certain Ages have different rules to better fit the age.


All Ages
All characters start with Krin-wise for free. Like usual this is rooted in their Perception. This is considered a lifepath skill which all characters may spend specific points on.


Age Of Magic
The Gifted trait costs only two trait points instead of the usual five.
